Have you been counting the days till Appleseed Ex Machina finally hits DVD in March, slowly drawing each line for each day in black eyeliner across your bedroom wall? That is just sad. It’s time to put away the eyeliner, repaint those walls, and dish up some fan remixed Appleseed content for a shot to win a trip to WonderCon. Persona is getting an anime adaptation coming January 2008 for Japan. The story takes place 10 years after the events in Persona 3 where the dead have risen and disguise themselves as humans know as “reverse”. While we don’t know much about the main character except that they are brothers, this anime could be a big hit and will hopefully make it over to North America. There is a main site for it as well but it doesn’t appear to be up just yet.
I am excited after reading that another .hack manga is coming out in Japan and hopefully Tokyopop will pick it up to publish here in the state. The next series is called .hack//link and takes place after the events in .hack//G.U. in a new version of the World, the World R: X. It is exciting to see another .hack series starting so soon and hopefully another anime and game are to follow. Stay tuned for more details on this one.

Most of us are still finishing out the dark hour for our first time, hoping that Persona 3 FES would release here. Well if two slips on a resume from Liam O’Brien who voiced Akihiko and Steve Prince who voiced Takaya ,are any indication it looks like we could get a chance to relive the Dark Hour once more with the added 30 hours of gameplay and extras.
On another side note , Tales from Earthsea is also listed on his resume which if any of you guys are Miyazaki fans this would be the first movies from Miyazaki’s son Goro. It was delayed since Universal owns the rights to Earthsea till 2009.
