With E3 only a short time away here is a quick list of things we can’t wait to see at E3.
10. Rock Band(X360/PS3) - Everyone saw this one coming but I can’t imagine what kind of experience actually playing Rock Band will be like. Just having drums is a big plus since I love Percussion Freaks and online play modes adds the fact that I don’t need to get all my friends in one place to jam.
9.Lost Odyssey (X360) - This amazing looking title from Mistwalker should be in full effect with a worldwide release coming this year for the Xbox 360.
8.Metroid Prime 3 (Wii) - The next chapter in the Metroid Saga finally being able to play out like it always should have on the Wii.
7.Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) - I hope to see a new playable footage and also get a release date. Other than that it is Mario of course we are going to get it.
6.Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) - While it is not going to be playable at E3, they should announce more details about it such as online features, characters and release date.
5.ASH (DS) - I have only seen a few pieces on Mistwalker’s first DS title but I am intrigued by the idea of using pre-rendered CG on the DS and I hope it is playable.
4.White Knight Story (PS3) - This was shown off at last years TGS but with this looking like one of the reasons for me to own a PS3.Lets hope Sony shows this off this year.
3.Zack and Wiki (Wii) - I really don’t know what to expect from Zack and Wiki, it looks like a great platformer / puzzle game and I can’t wait to try it.
2.No More Heroes (Wii) - This is one of my most anticipated games for 2007, I am digging the No More Heroes idea of an Otaku who wins a beam katana on ebay and gets into being a professional killer.
1.Assassin’s Creed (X360/PC/PS3) - I think Ttoes is a bit more excited about Assassin’s Creed than I am but it is on the top of my list. Lets hope we get a downloadable demo on XBL and the PSN.
Here is our list of hopeful announcements that will be made at E3, even if they have no previous standing or rumor.
5. ZOE 3 on Wii. Zone of the Enders was one of my favorite games on the ps2 and I would love to see a sequel but I think my biggest request is for it to be on the Wii. Taking advantage of the unique controls scheme could make it feel a bit more like the simulator style mech games without the Steel Battalion controller. Also another key factor would be the immersion level that using the Wiimote can bring to the table.
4. DS Cooking Navi. Everyone has seen the cook DS cookbook software that is out in Japan and that is what I would like to have. It is a quick and easy way to try new things for my toddler and not having to drag the Macbook into the kitchen.
3. Next Gen Tales game. With Eternal Sonata coming out I can’t help but think on how I would love to have a Tales game on a next gen system.
2. Shin Megami Tensei 4. The last title Nocturne came out about 2 years ago and with it gaining popularity in the US we would love to see the next installment make it out during 2008.
1. Half Life 2: Survivor for the Wii. Does anybody remember the Half Life 2 arcade game that came out in Japan from Taito? Well imagine playing that on the Wii and that makes me go “Wow”.
