Being a child of the 80s , one of the staples of most of my childhood was Godzilla. You know the bad dubbing, late night black and white movie with Perry Mason and Little Godzilla, but like Fight Club we don’t talk about that Matthew Broderick movie, even if the soundtrack was good. This holiday season relive some of your favorite battles of the past with Godzilla: Unleash for the Wii and PS2. Full press release after the jump.

Well it looks like my luck has finally ran out with my Xbox 360, as it has now kicked the bucket. While usually it has been not big deal to have something burn out on me this one I got from Target with a 3 year service plan that doesn’t cover the unit until it is a year old. This didn’t really bug me considering how often these things break until I had to speak with Xbox Technical Support, which have to be some of the worst customer support people I have ever had the opportunity to speak with ever. Plus to add salt to the wounds of my busted Xbox 360, they tell me that I have to send the system back for servicing that will take 3-6 wks putting it to be almost Christmas until I have my 360 back. I wouldn’t have been so upset if this wasn’t the time of year when some decent titles are finally coming out for the Xbox 360 after that dead summer, besides BioShock.
But on a plus note I pick up a copy of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Gamecube today.

While this one is a bit late, I am feeling much better now and back in the saddle for the long haul of playing games for YOU, our readers. What will I be playing you ask, well there are a few titles that we are currently working on these days.

MLB Power Pro for the Nintendo Wii was one that we finally just pick-up along with Zack and Wiki both on the Wii. But I am also still braving the dark hour almost every night and trying to finish up Persona 3 with about 80 hours clocked in and Ttoes has gone ship part crazy in Phantom Hourglass and won’t finish until she has “Caught them All” found all of the parts. Have a great weekend!

I am excited after reading that another .hack manga is coming out in Japan and hopefully Tokyopop will pick it up to publish here in the state. The next series is called .hack//link and takes place after the events in .hack//G.U. in a new version of the World, the World R: X. It is exciting to see another .hack series starting so soon and hopefully another anime and game are to follow. Stay tuned for more details on this one.

While I like the Kingdom Hearts franchise I am bit on the fence with the next set of installments. I feel like it may be a little to much too fast with a game coming out on the DS, PSP and Mobile. It looks like I will have towait until more concrete gameplay footage and hand-on previews for the Kingdom Heart games until I make my decision.

In my midst of a Friday workday I ventured to the local Gamestop located across the street from the office only to find that the Wii Demo station has been blessed with a full version copy of Super Mario Galaxy. Now I don’t want to spoil it for you, so I recommended trying it out at Gamestop near you. But I want to tell you that it controls like a dream, the story is very epic this time and the graphics are beautiful.
